Snowy Owls have really been enjoying our new topic. We have been reading the Wind in the Willows book and have got as far as the Wild Wood chapter.

We looked in detail at Badger's underground house and thought what it would be like to live underground. We looked at the part in the chapter when Ratty gets a bit claustrophobic from being underground for so long.

We took part in a debate- River living Vs Underground living.

Here are some pictures.

Our topic for Summer 2 is Wind in the Willows and Rowing.

Well Done to one of our Snowy Owls for creating a game and raising £4.20 for Comic Relief!  We all had fun playing the game on Friday and winning a prize!

In Art we have been learning about the history of the Faberge Eggs.

We created our own Faberge Eggs by painting polystyrene eggs with metallic paint and then dipping in glitter.   Once dried, we decorated with our own selection of jewels that parents kindly donated.   Don't they look amazing!

Sadly our chocolate theme has come to an end but we can now start thinking about our next exciting adventure learning about Dragons next term!

Wishing you all a very Happy Easter
